Popular выпускался с 1934 года и стал народным автомобилем довоенной Чехословакии. Хребтовая рама, независимая подвеска, небольшой мотор и низкая цена. На его базе строились родстеры и спортивные версии, участвовавшие в ралли Монте-Карло.

This car was exhibited and ran during ‘The Statesman Vintage & Classic Car Rally 2013’ from the Eastern Command Sports Stadium of Fort William, Kolkata to the same via: Rabindra Sadan, Esplanade, Central avenue, Bhupen Bose avenue, Shaymbazaar five points crossing, APC Roy road, AGC Bose road Park Circus seven points, Gariahat flyover, Gol park, Rabindra Sarover, SP Mukherjee road, Hazra Road, Alipore road and Strand road, the route covers 31.32 km. The rally was held at chilled morning on 13 January 2013 at the ECS Stadium, where 170 entrants were participated with cars and bikes manufactured from 1906 to 1978. This one day festival takes place on the second Sunday of every January in Kolkata since 1968 with full of period costume and cultural period pieces.
